The Tale of Ivan Gorbachova
Now there are a lot of you out there who like to be adventurous and solve mysteries but I’ll tell you this, there is one mystery you definitely cannot solve. It is about the Bermuda Triangle. I’ll bet none of you know who Ivan Gorbachova is, right? Well he’s one of the lost heroes of Egypt, but it ain’t be lost anymore, because I’m going to tell you all ‘bout it.
On the cold banks of the treacherous Nile River, there were numerous villages. Inside all of these villages, there lived the poor peasants who had nothing to do every single rotten hot day except for farming. Who had nothing to eat except the leftover’s of their harvest or if they got a good harvest. Yes they can live a better life, but only through studying for years and becoming a scribe. Scribes lived a better life than most Egyptians. They write for the government, keep records, and other stuff. They are usually the only ones who can write the language of Egypt, so, most Egyptians don’t even know how to write the language they are speaking! Oh sorry I’m getting off-topic, back to the peasants. So, on one cold night of the Egyptian’s “Demon Days,” there was a flood. The “Demon Days” were known as days of bad luck, and a flood on those days weren’t uncommon, but this one was extremely powerful. The waves roared, the wind howled, and it seemed as though it wouldn’t stop. People screaming, panic in the air, well just telling you about this won’t be scary enough, ‘cause you have to be there to get the feeling. Well there were a few survivors who had seen the storm coming. So, houses got blown away, trees got uprooted, sand and water everywhere.
The next morning, survivors from last night came back to see what was left of their village. There was nothing…except for one thing. In the center of the village, there was a giant cradle, and inside, there was a baby. The baby was no one’s and what was weird about it was that he was playing with two GIANT scorpions! Confusion was written on all of the survivor’s faces. They all didn’t know what to do so they brought the baby to the pharaoh, nice guy by the way. However even he didn’t know what to do, so he adopted the baby. He gave the peasants a bag of gold to help their rebuilding their village and for their act of kindness.
I should describe the baby before going on. The pharaoh had decided to name him as Ivan Gorbachova. He was a cute one. Green eyes, black hair, kinda pointy nose. The pharaoh learned that the baby did NOT like milk after he threw up after he finished his first bottle. The baby could lift up a 2 ton sword when he was 2 years old and could talk when he was 3. He was tutored to write when he was 5 but he didn’t really like to write. He loved to read, and he was a pure warrior when he was 10. He knew 100 different types of killing someone before he even started his training.
One day he snuck into the armory and armed himself with his armor and a sword with a shield, and then he went to battle with the enemy without his father’s permission. He won the battle by himself, defeating the enemy.
After his victory, the pharaoh and Ivan were arguing,
“Ivan, you can’t sneak into wars, it’s too dangerous,” said the pharaoh worriedly.
“Father its okay, I won’t get hurt,” assured Ivan.
“Alright then, fine, Ivan, you can keep fighting, but just know that I can’t live without you.”
Ivan kept fighting, and he won so many battles that his friends and his enemies nicknamed him the “Beast.” One day the pharaoh received a letter from an enemy king to send out Ivan to fight against their strongest warrior, the “Thor.” The pharaoh wasn’t sure what to do. He was under pressure.
“Father, send me out, please,” pleaded Ivan.
“Okay it’s your choice Ivan,” said the pharaoh smiling, “Anyway, you always win.”
The pharaoh sent a letter back to the enemy. It said that the pharaoh will send out Ivan, but the pharaoh will be the one who will choose the battlefield. The pharaoh picked out an arena he had built in the faraway seas of the unknown. He will not be going with the two warriors, instead waiting for Ivan to come home after his victory.
The next morning, Ivan and the Thor both set out for the location the pharaoh had picked for them to fight. The journey to the arena was shockingly easy. There were no storms, no sea creatures coming after them, and no difficulties.
At last, they reached the arena. They were shocked by the magnificence of the arena and the stability. Then, they started to fight. At first, it seemed as though Ivan was winning. However if you looked closer, you could see that both men were almost even. They fought for hours. Hours became days…
Days became weeks…
Weeks became months…
Months became years…
Years became centuries…
Centuries became...well you get the idea. Both men fought forever, pausing at times to rest. If any other people went closer to them, they were accidentally destroyed between the two men fighting. Ivan’s dad had passed away, but Ivan still fought. The two brave warriors seemed to be immortal, but actually yes they were. Whenever one got hurt, it seemed to heal instantly. The two warriors were forgotten by the outside world. The arena was known today as the Bermuda Triangle. People don’t know what is inside it, but it is better not to go into it, because you will be destroyed by their swords.
Well that is the story of how the Bermuda Triangle came.
